Hydras are gigantic aquatic creatures with blue scales and yellow eyes. They have the highest base strength and base attack among the basic monsters in the game but their attacks are not very accurate. They are at their strongest when they are battling in Water terrain due to their increased mobility. They are unable to move around as freely on land.

The Hydra is a serpentine water monster in Greek and Roman mythology with poisonous breath and blood, multiple heads, and the ability to grow two more heads each time one is severed. Heracles/Hercules kills the Hydra as the second of his Twelve Labors.

Background

A sea serpent's new form following a class change. Infused with the power of a serpent dragon's jewel, this fearsome creature plagues the oceans with upgraded attributes, including a longer range for their breath attack. One of the strongest attackers among blue type units, they make a great vanguard for breaking through enemy ranks, but receives increased damage from green type foes.
