Rocs are large bird-like creatures with with brown feathers. They are capable of traveling long distances in a short amount of time and flying across various types of terrain with ease. Their high agility and power of flight helps them dodge a lot of low accuracy attacks. Each attack from their sharp talons gives a chance to petrify their target. They are able to to let out a loud roar that can affect all units around them.
A roc is an enormous bird of prey in Middle Eastern mythology. The monster's ability to petrify may have actually been inspired by that of a cockatrice, a reptilian monster with a rooster's head in English folklore.
Giant bird monsters. They are able to cause greater damage to monsters that excel in mountainous terrain and their wild screeches cause any who hear them to pass out. They are weak against bow attacks.
